There are approximately 65 million Americans currently with a criminal history. Research shows that former prisoners are less likely to return to prison than those who are not employed. We believe with providing assistance with matching ex-offenders with the workforce that we can make a positive change in our community. This is a chance for us to help in keeping children with their parents, lower crime rates, and increase productivity.

 

Without the opportunity of an ex-offender gaining employment, supporting themselves and their families seems unreachable. Some of them will turn back to the life of crime in order to attempt to satisfy their obligations and get basic needs met. OSCM believes in holding someone accountable for their actions, and we also believe in giving tools, resources and opportunities during rehabilitation.
